I'm Awkward, socially awkward, but mostly with family...

Now family is great and all... XD Sometimes they can be judge-y though and not understand the modern day crazy girl (sorry boys). I just walked past my great-grandmother while hugging my open laptop to my chest because I wanted to find my mom and show her a picture...only she is outside currently.

     Feeling awkward, I'm in the kitchen typing this. My baby is balanced on a Tang juice mix container on top of the counter.

It's perfect! Just the right height. Spine is straight instead of cat-ball-on-bed position. Do you come here often? If so I think I might just have to buy this spot. ~.^

I hope mum doesn't mind me typing in the kitchen...on the countertop. Maybe it'll be like my midnight snack *strange Sheldon smile* I'll come here late at night and type up this weird s**t 

     So here I am holed up in the kitchen. Strangely pleased with self... Thinking of double chocolate chip cookies hidden in the pantry (because I don't want to share with my greedy family).
   
Writing a blog post that should be renamed to Sukai: The strange life part 1 or something like that because...that sounds horrible. I wonder many things like: where the Tartarus was I going with this...

     I think my mum is inside now so I can show her Serina's birthday cake but it's awkward walking around... I feel like putting on some cosplay clothes but someone will come in (a door would be so nice...) and that is awkward.
     
Even more so since I wanted to crossplay because I haven't in a while. Yes my life is full of awkward possibilities. I like to avoid as many as possible too...

So I don't know what I'm going to do with this...

     This morning I was wearing super baggy jeans and my brother told me my legs looked ugly (never mind that you couldn't even see the shape of them) and that boys won't like me. -.- It was heart breaking. Not really because they were super comfortable! ^.^

Now that you've read my tired-and-I'm-a-awkward-person thoughts you might be scared to even read anything I write again. XD  I wrote that quite a few months ago actually... So I'm unsure why exactly I'm posting this. Lol.

    It started out as a post about family for Ideal Arcz but then I was feeling really awkward so I just typed what came to mind.

Telling mom I want a full body pillow

     Sometimes the fandom world breaches the 'real' world. Some people, the insane geeks, can travel between the two worlds. As for others, they aren't even aware of the world full of fandoms. For an example my mother.

     About two years ago I dived head first into the world where I now have a permanent resident. I've shown my mother glimpses of this magical place.
     After the initial denial followed but shock and confusion that lasted several months she has accepted it! Now she doesn't even bat an eye when I wear a wig. My father on the other hand is a long term plan when it comes to the dressing up...

Parents discovering their children are special and creative...

A couple of years ago I was sitting in the kitchen with my mum and brother and this happened...

My brother complains about something he wants

Me: Well you know what I want?! *pauses to think*

Bro and mom: *stares at me curious*

Me: *'Can't say that...They wouldn't know... That's dirty...'*

Brother and mom: *watch me stutter for words*

Me: I have so many things I can't think of one...*'that I can say'*

Brother: *starts talking*

Me: *cuts him off* *'screw it'* A full body pillow of my favourite character!

Mom: *looks at me with a mom look*

Brother: What's a full body pillow?

Me: *duh look* A pillow that is full body size...

Mom: Who is he?

Me: He is fictional... *looks down sadly*

But Yes Mom....

I still want it... Actually I want more now!
